Ahsoka Tano, the fan-favorite Jedi from the Star Wars universe, is heading to our screens in August 2023. After making her live-action debut in The Mandalorian, fans have been eagerly awaiting the release of her own series and now, after a panel at Star Wars Celebration in London, we finally have a release date. What’s more, it looks as though the show may already be getting a second season!
At the panel, a new poster was released that confirmed the show’s August 2023 release date. Rosario Dawson, who plays Ahsoka, also teased a possible second season, saying “if this does well, maybe we’ll get a second season. It’s up to y’all. I’m ready if you are.”
The trailer for the show was also released at the panel, giving us a hint of Ahsoka’s upcoming struggle along with a glimpse of some familiar faces. We get to see fan-favorite Star Wars Rebels droid, Chopper in live-action, along with Rebel pilot Hera Syndula (played by Mary Elizabeth Winstead) and Sabine Wren (Natasha Liu Bordizzo).
It looks as though Star Wars fans are in for a treat with the upcoming Ahsoka series. With a stellar cast, an intriguing trailer and the promise of a possible second season, it’s sure to be a hit. Be sure to keep an eye out for the show when it premieres in August 2023 on Disney+.
