If you’re a Steam user running an older Windows OS, you’ll soon be at risk of losing your entire game library. Steam has announced that it will no longer be supporting legacy Windows OSs, including Windows 7, Windows 8, and Windows 8.1. This means that unless you upgrade your OS, you won’t be able to access your Steam Game Library after January 1, 2024. Though this sounds alarming, the good news is that you can still access your library if you upgrade your OS to Windows 10 or Windows 11. Upgrading your OS will ensure that you don’t lose access to your Steam Game Library and can continue to enjoy your favourite PC games.
