Forget rumours of a portable Xboy, Halo: The Master Chief Collection has made its way to Steam Deck, and with it comes matchmade multiplayer and access to some of the wackiest maps in any FPS. 343 Industries have enabled Easy Anti-Cheat, so you can now play the classic campaigns, over a hundred multiplayer maps, and Halo: Reach and Halo: ODST right from the comfort of your bed – or anywhere in the galaxy really.
The collection features some of the funnest maps around, with Valhalla being a great example of the physics-driven mayhem you can expect. With the game’s casual nature, it’s well-suited for on-the-go play, and you can purchase the collection for £30/$40/€40 on Steam, or buy the individual games for a lower price.
Halo: The Master Chief Collection is an excellent way to experience some of the best FPS games from the past, and with the new update, you can now play them anywhere with your Steam Deck.
