EA is about to bring Middle-earth to your mobile devices with the upcoming release of Lord of the Rings: Heroes of Middle-earth. This free-to-play mobile game is set to launch on May 10th and EA has just released the first real trailer, giving us a glimpse of what to expect.
The trailer gives us a look into the stylized art style of the game, featuring wanderers, warriors, wizards, and other characters from the Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit. This game will also create a more diverse and inclusive Middle-earth, while offering Story, PVP, and other gameplay modes.
Players will be able to collect characters from the Lord of the Rings universe and engage in turn-based combat. The game will also feature iconic stories from the world of J.R.R. Tolkien and give players the chance to take up the fight against the great evils of Middle-earth.
EA is also releasing a second game set in the Lord of the Rings universe, Lord of the Rings: Gollum, which will arrive on consoles and PC on May 25th. In addition, Embracer reportedly has three additional titles in development for the next two years.
