Activision has launched a new BlackCell Battle Pass for Modern Warfare 2 and Warzone 2, offering players the chance to get their hands on exclusive rewards for $30. The Battle Pass, which is an upgrade to the regular Battle Pass, includes over 7,000 CoD Points worth of items, including 2,500 CP to use in the store, 20 Tier Skips for the regular Pass, a BlackCell Operator with an animated Camo skin, a Pro-Tuned Weapon Blueprint, Vehicle Skin and Finishing Move, and a BlackCell Sector within the Battle Pass.
The new BlackCell Battle Pass has been met with mixed reactions from Call of Duty fans, with many seeing it as a “cash-grab” given that it must be purchased with money, and not CoD Points. While some players have argued that there is value to be seen in the pass, it works out that players could end up spending over $200 on the base game and the Battle Passes if they want to keep up to date with the newest items.

While the pass has been met with mixed reactions, it could be worth considering for those who are serial bundle-buyers, as it could save them money in the long run. However, for those who are more budget-conscious, it might be better to stick to those Ranked skins earned through the grind.
