God of War fans rejoice! The much-anticipated New Game Plus (NG+) has finally arrived in the Ragnarök update. The update offers players a new way to explore the Nine Realms, with new equipment, levels and Enchantments.
For those unfamiliar with the concept of an NG+, it is an additional game mode that allows players who have already beaten the game to experience it again. This mode typically includes features that weren’t available during the initial playthrough, and provides players with alternative options that weren’t available before.
The Ragnarök update comes with a range of new features, including the fan-favorite Ares and Zeus armors from 2018’s God of War. There are also new Enchantments and progression paths, allowing players to take on the increased difficulty of post-campaign gameplay and new endgame-exclusive bosses. The level cap for both Kratos and enemies has been increased beyond the maximum Level 9 difficulty.
On top of this, players will have access to their entire stock of skills and tools from their previous playthrough. The only weapons not available from the start are Sonic and Hex arrows, which will become available once the story reaches the point at which they’re necessary.
