Valheim, the popular Norse mythology game from developer Iron Gate, is set to launch on Xbox Game Pass next month. According to Embracer Group’s latest earnings briefing, the game is set to launch on March 14.
This will be great news for Xbox fans, as Valheim has been a huge success since its launch in February 2021, reaching millions of players on PC. With Xbox Game Pass, players can now experience the game’s unique blend of survival, exploration and adventure on their Xbox consoles.
The Xbox and Microsoft Store versions of the game will also have full cross-play compatibility with the Steam version, so players can enjoy the game with their friends no matter which platform they use.
Valheim is just one of the many games from Embracer in development. The company currently has 224 games in development, including 31 AAA games, 19 of which will be released before 2026.
Embracer also owns the rights to The Lord of the Rings, and has confirmed it will launch five new Lord of the Rings games in the next two years. Additionally, the company recently made headlines after it accepted a $1 billion investment from Saudi Arabia.
Valheim is sure to be a hit on Xbox Game Pass, and Xbox players are in for a treat when the game launches on March 14. With its unique blend of survival, exploration and adventure, Valheim is sure to be an exciting addition to the Xbox Game Pass library.
