Minecraft players have been known to be creative and ambitious with their builds, but the project to recreate the world of Hyrule from Breath of the Wild inside the game is certainly one of the most impressive ones. It’s a massive undertaking that requires a lot of time and effort, but the results are absolutely stunning. The project is still ongoing, and it’s estimated that it will take Grazzyy at least another year to finish it.
It’s no secret that Minecraft players are incredibly creative and ambitious when it comes to their builds. One of the most impressive projects to come out of the Minecraft community is the recreation of the world of Hyrule from Breath of the Wild. Led by YouTube sensation Grazzyy, the project to build the entire world of Hyrule inside Minecraft is an ambitious undertaking that requires a lot of time and effort.
The project was announced last year by Grazzyy and since then, he has been documenting his journey to recreate some of the most iconic places from Breath of the Wild inside Minecraft. According to Nintendo, the map size of Hyrule is roughly 140 square miles, which is about the size of 67760 football fields. In order to recreate the entire world of Hyrule, Grazzyy has already spent around 450+ hours building it, and this number is expected to go up to 1200 hours by the time the project is finished.
Grazzyy has already completed some of the most challenging areas of the map, such as Zora’s Domain, which took him about 50 hours of playtime to complete. He also has plans to recreate the Hyrule Castle, the Divine Beasts, every ruined building scattered across the in-game world, and the guardians patrolling different areas of the game’s world.
The project is ongoing and is estimated to take Grazzyy at least another year to finish. It’s a truly impressive undertaking that showcases the creativity of the Minecraft community. If you’re interested in following Grazzyy’s progress, you can check out his YouTube channel to see the updates.
