Despite the initial breakdown in talks, xQc’s idea of creating a ‘superteam’ in the Valorant space is something that could still come to fruition. After all, the Canadian streamer is one of the most successful and popular content creators in the world, and his ambition could well be the key to a successful esports team.

Félix “xQc” Lengyel, one of the most popular streamers in the world, has recently been at the center of controversy involving a professional Valorant team, Turtle Troops. After “ghosting” the team, xQc recently clarified the situation in a live stream with Subroza, apologizing to the team for his lack of communication and explaining why talks had broken down.

The streamer had initially wanted to buy out two-star players to create a “superteam” in the Valorant space, but the team was not on board with the idea. This, along with financial disagreements, led to the breakdown in talks. Despite the controversy, xQc has taken responsibility for his part in the situation and even paid the players a month’s salary as a “waiting price”.
